Drôle de Monsieur has collaborated with Gien, the most famous faience manufacturer in Europe founded over 200 years ago. Its exquisite earthenware decorated with poetic patterns is crafted in Val de Loire using historical techniques, passed down from one generation to another: created in 1875, its bestselling collection, Pivoines, is entirely hand-painted.
This exceptional collaboration reimagines Gien’s Pivoines pattern in forest green, Drôle de Monsieur’s signature shade. This mug is among the series of four pieces crafted for this collaboration.
